It’s all in the paint!! Fashion and Textile Museum looking good!!

Dame Zandra Rhodes ‘Fashion and Textile Museum’ is looking gorgeous with its new coat of paint after our work to redecorate its exterior. With its reinvigorated look making it even easier for tourists to spot its quirky colour scheme of pink, burnt orange, yellow and blue, we think that it would be worth talking about the specialist paint which we used. It is a state of the art paint called Allweather Exterior Masonry Paint and is used for painting the exteriors of buildings.
Supplied by internationally acclaimed painting decorator Zinsser and manufactured and marketed in the UK by Tor Coatings who are specialists in protective coverings of buildings, we felt confident in our painting work. It was good to see it mentioned by the Museum on their social media. (https://www.instagram.com/p/BiXLSKulPY1/?hl=en&taken-by=fashiontextilemuseum). Furthermore, Allweather does exactly as its title suggests: it works in all weather conditions by outperforming regular paint in rainy weather and very cold weather.
It does not require an undercoating which makes it cost effective. Indeed, only two coats of AllWeather paint are needed to ensure the appearance of the museum remains in a superb condition for many years to come. To add to the excitement, this is possibly the first time ever the paint was used on a project since the paint is a brand new product!!
